The 32nd Athens Fashion Week opens its gates from the impressive venue of The Ellinikon Experience Park!
The 32nd Athens Fashion Week is ready to welcome you from the 8th to the 12th of June at the
unique “The Ellinikon Experience Park, in Elliniko. The longest running event of the greek
fashion industry, Athens Fashion Week has returned renewed, with a summery mood and
promises you 5 days full of creativity, glamour and lots of surprises.
The main venue of Fashion Week will be for the first time “The Ellinikon Experience Park” located
within The Ellinikon, the largest urban regeneration project in Europe, carried out by Lamda
Development. “The Ellinikon Experience Park”, a 75-acre experiential park with more than 900
trees and 80,000 plants of Mediterranean varieties, marks the beginning of a new way of life, full of
experiences, images and emotions, next to nature. It is the first part of the large Ellinikon Park that
will be handed over to the public in the coming years. The site is dominated by three aviation
hangars, which have been declared New Monuments by the Ministry of Culture. The park has been
designed and built according to the principles of sustainable development, marking a new, more
environmentally friendly approach. For this reason, it is the ideal backdrop for both the impressive
fashion shows of great Greek designers and the parallel events that will take place, supporting
sustainable fashion and the harmonious coexistence of people and nature.
The 32nd Athens Fashion Week will kick off on Thursday 8/6 with an impressive installation where
for the first time 14 renowned Greek designers of the Hellenic Association of Fashion
Designers will present their unique creations. More specifically, the designers: Angelos Bratis-
Chara Lebessi -Dassios- Denise Eleftheriou -Dimitris Petrou- Ioanna Kourbela- Kathy Heyndels-
Konstantinos Tsigaros -Liana Camba -Maison Faliakos – Parthenis- Sotiris Georgiou- Vassilis
Zoulias- Yiorgos Eleftheriades will offer to the attendees an impressive performance/installation
with the impressive natural setting of Elliniko Park acting as a background.
Next, Konstantinos Tsigaros comes with his K7 Konstantinos Tsigaros collection entitled
“Sustainability”, a collection that focuses on minimalism and the philosophy of “slow fashion”. The
baton will be passed to Dassios, who will present the collection “Walking in the Glow”,
Fall/Winter ’23-’24. The first day of Fashion Week will end with Kathy Heyndels and Marios
Togos’ “Cocktail” Spring/Summer 2024 collection, a collection full of colours, soft textures, lines
and shapes.
The second day of the 32nd Athens Fashion Week will start with the creations of Vassilis Zoulias
and the pret-a-porter collection of Maison Zoulias called “Garden Euphoria”, A/W ’23-’24 while the
imaginative jewellery of Pericles Kondylatos will embellish his creations in a unique way once
again. Next will be Daphne Valente with her collection “Flora Graeca” inspired by the botany book
of the same name, emphasizing the necessity of respecting nature before it is too late. The second
day of Fashion Week will close with the A/W ’23-24 collection by the brand Parthenis.
The third day of Fashion Week, is dedicated to young fashion designers and the New Designers
Awards. Six young fashion designers will present their creations, competing for three prizes: Best
Catwalk, Best Trendsetter and Best New Designer. Earlier on the same day, the Gerakas Art
School will present collections by students who will walk down the runway giving a conceptual
performance.
The fourth day of Athens Fashion Week, starts with the fashion show of Irene Angelopoulos and
the Summer ’23 Haute Couture collection entitled “Ethereal Allure”. The summer mood will be
ubiquitous with luxurious fashion brand MariellaBGreen and the Summer 2023 collection of swimwear made of sustainable materials. The sustainable fashion show by Ethical Ode with the
title “Togetherhood” will follow. The evening will close with the fashion brand Celebrity Skin and
the unique collection “Morbid Fascination” and many celebrities on the catwalk!
On the last day of Athens Fashion Week, Sunday 12/6, Paris Valtadoros will present “Illusion”,
Fall/Winter ’24 and Resort Collection 2024. The 32nd Fashion Week at Elliniko will close with the
creations of Vlassi Holeva and the Gypsy Couture Summer 2023 collection and a closing party.
During the event, visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy the current collections of the Greek
fashion accessory creators, who participate in the Xclusive Elements: Brag Fashion, E.T.
Collection, Show Room Moonbelli.
The 32nd Athens Fashion Week supports “Sustainable Fashion”. Sustainability in fashion is not
just a trend of the season but a philosophy and a way of life.
Apart from promoting the extroversion of Greek fashion, the main pillar of Athens Fashion Week is
always the essential support of an important cause, utilizing all the platforms and communication
channels of the event. This season, Athens Fashion Week aims to raise environmental awareness
and promote sustainable fashion.
In the context of social contribution and sustainability activities, this season, Athens Fashion Week
will support the important work of the global non-profit, environmental and humanitarian
organization we4all and part of the ticket proceeds will be used for reforestation and tree planting
in affected areas of Greece, while during the event there will be an installation of trees and flowers
curated by we4all.
