Go with the Flow: The Dance of Time in Son Jung Wan’s FW 2025 Collection

by Lavish Staff

Son Jung Wan returned to New York Fashion Week on February 8 with “Go with the Flow,” a collection that merges past and present with an avant-garde sensibility. Through deconstructed silhouettes and dynamic layering, the designer reinterprets identity and memory in a play of textures and contrasts.

The color palette evokes deep emotions: Luminous Celestial Yellow, a warm and hopeful yellow; Midnight Blue, a deep and mysterious shade; Pastel Parchment, a soft powdery tone with timeless elegance; and Black Ink, a rich black reminiscent of traditional ink strokes.

The fabrics reinforce the collection’s experimental nature: wool, cashmere, and angora provide softness, while metallic satin and silk capture light with asymmetrical patterns. Patent leather and velvet add bold impact with their intense textures and striking cuts.

With 54 stores in Asia and a global presence, Son Jung Wan continues to innovate with her women’s, juniors, menswear, and athleisure lines, solidifying her status as a leader in contemporary luxury fashion.
